Czech Inn

She’s Czech, but she prefers wine over beer. When she’s not busy conquering the hospitality world - a.k.a. working as Operations Manager for both Czech Inn and new, eco-friendly sister property Mosaic House - she enjoys riding her bike, listening to Jason Mraz and travelling to faraway places.

He’s an antipodean (don’t worry, we had to look it up too)...and we all know that Aussies are the essence of cool. ‘nough said.

Okay, okay Leigh - maybe a bit more. He loves Liverpool FC, lived in London for several years (‘cause that’s what Aussies do, right?), LOVES Czech beer and Slivovice and can make perfect Czech goulash…pretty good for an Aussie, huh?!

He enjoys reading Jamie Oliver’s cookbooks. He has visited 20 countries. He is, in fact, Slovak (contrary to most guesses).

He’s a NY Yankees fan AND he can milk a cow. He’s also General Manager and Co-Owner of the new, eco-friendly Mosaic House. In his spare time (insert sarcastic tone here) and when the weather is nice, he enjoys riding his bike to work.

Former clown, theology student, nurse, unicyclist extraordinaire-turned-entrepreneur…this guy is chock-full of crazy ideas and has a knack for actually making them work. He hails from Germany, where he grew up on a goat farm. Mathias also owns well-known backpacker’s haven Sir Toby’s, boutique beauty Miss Sophie’s and is a partner of the new, eco-friendly Mosaic House.

As if being a marketing and media mastermind wasn’t enough, Megan also represents us internationally as the official ‘Chief Word Spreader’ for Bohemian Hostels. In her free time, she doubles as a superhero.

Christina is a sales and marketing superhero in the central office for Bohemian Hostels. She’s from the OC. Her voice is amazing (we wish she’d fill the Kavarna up with it on more occasions!). She enjoys the graphic design aspect of her role most and loves working with her colleagues!

She’s a sales and marketing superhero in the central office for Bohemian Hostels. She loves numbers. She’s a Modry Zub-fiend (it’s a restaurant in Prague…she highly recommends it to everyone). Her favourite subject in school was math…and she is so embarrassed to admit it. She loves working here because the people are ‘truly amazing!’

Shannon, from Minnesota, has dreamed of being a high-powered office manager (for Bohemian Hostels) all her life. We’ve helped her realize this dream. On her off days, she runs marathons.

Not only does she have a great smile…she’s pretty darn smart, studying artwork restoration and preservation technologies. She also went to the south of France…where the wine flows like water. She fell in love with it. Who wouldn’t?! In her free time, she reads and appreciates art (go figure!).

She’s fond of Damien Rice…and his music. Her random talent is finding other people’s random talents. She’s always discovering a new favourite book.

She’s always smiling. We love that. Not only does Nikola pour a mean Czech pivo (that’s Czech for ‘beer’), she also enjoys teaching guests the right way to drink Absinthe shots. Just ask her.

Riegrovy Sady is her favourite beer garden in Prague. She likes to play darts. There’s no place like home…Andrea calls home her favourite place.

She’s another one of our fabulous cleaning staff who works really hard to whip this place into shape, and is the reason we’re consistently rated as one of the cleanest properties. But when she’s off, she loves to relax and go for walks or visit friends. On top of that, she’s a hiking enthusiast from Ukraine and has an adorable little boy too.

He claims he lives on a diet of meat and schnitzel and enjoys a glass of Turkish coffee every morning. He also owns a cow in Ukraine…that’s where he gets the milk for his Turkish coffee. ha.

She’s a Minneapolis gal. And a life-long swimmer. Radost is her favourite restaurant in Prague and she loves Reigrovy Sady beer garden. ‘Lo’ - as we call her - loves hanging out with the eclectic mix of guests at Czech Inn.

He’s a night receptionist. Ondra lived in Mongolia for an extended period of time and loves travelling…and his TOMS shoes (which you can purchase at reception…not his shoes, but a new pair of shoes).

She says Petřín is her favourite place in Prague. She won the Czech Inn bowling trophy. Have you ever dreamed of having an elephant drawing? Just ask her…she has a knack for drawing elephants.

He’s a night receptionist, who likes to listen to U2. His favourite subject in school was art. He says he has a knack for getting in trouble…but we don’t believe it (he’s too super-sweet!).

He’s a night receptionist at Czech Inn, modern-day renaissance man, and a lover of all things…music festivals, languages (he studies italian…and the language of love), medicine, flame-throwing and more. If you have an ailment, hopefully he’s at reception, because he’s our resident doctor-to-be.

He likes to laugh. A lot. His favourite destinations are Holland and Israel. He enjoys working with the great staff and awesome guests of Czech Inn. Oh, and one more thing…he’d like to be the president when he grows up. We’re already creating our ‘George Styblo for President’ signs!

Mariya is one of our amazing cleaning staff members. She always has a smile on her face and literally brightens every room she’s in.

Juan is the nicest Paraguayian guy you’ll meet in the Czech Republic. He’s gifted with languages, so he can probably tell you in your mother tongue about how he wants to be a fat man when he grows up.

Calvin hails from Texas originally, but you might have a hard time picking out that southern accent. He’s done a lot of travel and lived in Prague for several years. Ask him about it!
